At CAVU Aerospace, September is full of meaning, milestones, and movement. From honoring important causes to celebrating our people and highlighting the projects and events keeping our crew busy, here is what is happening this month.
Celebrating September Birthdays & Anniversaries
This month, we’re taking a moment to celebrate the incredible people who keep CAVU moving forward. To our team members marking birthdays and anniversaries in September—thank you for bringing your dedication, skills, and energy to everything you do. You are essential to our mission and success, and we’re proud to celebrate you!
Honoring Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
For our CAVU Aerospace family, this month carries a personal weight. One of our founders, Bryan Hancock, and his family know this journey firsthand. His son, Price, bravely fought stage IV Glioblastoma with courage, faith, and strength beyond his years. On December 26, 2015, Price won his battle in Heaven, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and resilience that continues to inspire us today.
In his memory, the Hancock family established Hunting for a Cure: The Price Hancock Foundation—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping children and families facing the unimaginable challenge of childhood cancer. From assisting with medical bills to simply bringing a smile during the hardest days, the foundation extends hope and support when it is needed most.
This month, as we honor every child and family fighting childhood cancer, we invite you to join us in raising awareness and carrying forward Price’s legacy. Through generosity and community, we can make a lasting difference together.

Looking Ahead: MRO Europe

We’re packing our bags for London! CAVU Aerospace will attend MRO Europe, one of the aviation industry’s premier events. It’s always an exciting opportunity to connect with partners, explore new innovations, and showcase how our dismantling, repair, and recycling services continue to define residual value for our customers worldwide. If you’re attending, let’s connect—we’d love to see you there.
Rolling in Style: MD-80 in Roswell, NM

Talk about VIP treatment. This month, our MD-80 project in Roswell, NM, is rolling through like it owns the runway. With our crews' precision and care for every project, this aircraft gets the first-class dismantling experience. Piece by piece, our team ensures every component is managed to the highest transparency and sustainability standards.
Wrapping Up
From honoring Price’s legacy and raising awareness for childhood cancer, to celebrating our people, preparing for MRO Europe, and spotlighting another exciting project in Roswell, the vision this September is clear. At CAVU Aerospace, we remain committed to people, progress, and purpose.
