CAVU Aerospace Announces Key Partnerships, Expansions, and Certifications to Strengthen Aviation Maintenance Capabilities

CAVU Aerospace is pleased to announce a series of significant developments that reflect our ongoing commitment to excellence in aviation maintenance and workforce development.

CAVU Aerospace has recently signed an agreement with Eastern New Mexico University - Roswell (ENMU-R) to have the college sponsor ATA 104 Level II A Line Maintenance training. The first course was completed, enabling our 145 CRS (Certificate of Release to Service) to expand its operating specifications by adding additional aircraft types. This collaboration aligns with our dedication to fostering educational partnerships that develop the next generation of aviation professionals.

In addition, CAVU Aerospace has signed and is finalizing details on an agreement with Roswell Job Corps to participate in their Work-Based Learning program. This further extends our commitment to workforce development and provides valuable hands-on training opportunities.

Over the past few months, CAVU Aerospace has participated in the Federal Aviation Administration National Certificate Holder Evaluation Program (CHEP). The National CHEP evaluates Part 121 air carriers, Part 145 repair stations, and Part 135 certificate holders for regulatory compliance on a five-year schedule under the Safety Analysis and Promotion Division. This thorough inspection evaluates the 145 repair stations and the respective FSDO for safety and compliance. The evaluation went very well, and we are incorporating a new methodology in our operations to ensure we stay compliant with ever-changing regulations.

CAVU Aerospace Maintenance enhanced our capabilities through a recent Operational Specification revision. We now have authorization for performing manufacturers, commercial operator, or air carrier-approved parking, storage, mooring, and return-to-service programs, including maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations up to and including “B” checks for the following aircraft and engines:

This expansion significantly broadens our opportunities for future business.

Our commitment to workforce development remains at the forefront of our operations. We have distributed OJT Maintenance Logbooks to our employees to support their pursuit of FAA Mechanic’s Certification through experience. We continue our engagement with NM Workforce, focusing on developing workforce opportunities and actively reaching out to local schools to promote aerospace careers. Additionally, we are proud to support the Scouting USA Aviation Explorer’s Program.

Furthermore, CAVU Aerospace Maintenance is now an EASA-certified repair station, enabling us to perform maintenance on EASA-registered aircraft within our capabilities—opening another avenue to expand our customer base at Roswell.

“These achievements highlight our commitment to providing top-tier services and developing the skilled workforce needed in today’s competitive market. We look forward to delivering exceptional service to our clients and advancing our mission of excellence in aviation.” Says Bryan Hancock – Partner – CAVU Aerospace.
